Buttercup (UK, Sylvanian Families)
- Grandmother Bessie like her husband Angus, enjoys the great outdoors with its scenic beauty and healthy fresh air. As a proud member of the Sylvanian Ramblers’ Club, she is in charge of producing the club’s leaflets which lets everyone know the best scenic routes around Sylvania, and she is a stickler at reminding people to close the gates behind them!
- Grandfather Angus formed the Sylvanian Ramblers’ Club to encourage everyone to take up walking as a healthy and relaxing pursuit. Along with his wife, Bessie, he also ensures that all the local footpaths are kept in good repair and clear for everyone to use and enjoy. “Footpaths are part of our great Sylvanian heritage,” he is often heard to proclaim.
- Aunt Elsie is well known in Sylvania as she pedals her ice cream cart up and down the promenade at the beach. As she cycles Elsie sings her "come buy a lovely ice cream" song at the top of her voice and the children and adults alike cannot resist her wonderful ice creams on a hot sunny day!
- Aunt Dotty loves running the farm shop with all its wonderful fresh produce!
- Uncle Penleigh and his trusty steed Dapple bring a wonderful selection of fruit and vegetables fresh from the farm.
- Mother Daisy is very nosy and likes to see and know what is going on. If she sees anyone out for a walk or off shopping, she will wander over to see what they are up to and have a chat.
- Father Hornbull loves walking through the fields and woods around Sylvania all alone. He likes the peace and quiet and gets all huffy and bad tempered if he is disturbed during his thoughtful strolls. Some children find him frightening!
- Sister Annabell does not like to rush anything. She walks slowly and gracefully, and has never been seen to run or even jog. Getting ready for school in the morning takes her hours.
- Brother Paddock is very frisky, running, skipping and jumping everywhere, he just can't seem too stand still for long. All this pent up energy makes Paddock very good at the playground game of 'catch' but he is at a disadvantage when the children play a game of 'hide and seek'.
- Baby Sister Dolly (yellow) and Baby Brother Fennel (green) are shy babies who don't like being away from their mother Daisy. They will not play by themselves when mother is doing housework, so she gives them a duster each and they follow her around the house dusting.
- Baby Brother Cheddar (red) is a shy baby who doesn’t like being away from his mother Daisy. He will not play by himself when mother is doing housework, so she gives him a duster and he follows her around the house dusting.
Friesian (US, Calico Critters)
- Mother Daisy spends most of her day tending to her beautiful garden filled with bright flowers. She loves listening to the birds singing and feeling the warm sun rays on her face. She also loves baking cookies, cakes, and brownies - the house always smells like yummy sweets!
- Father Leo is a carpenter for Cloverleaf Corners. He helps build new homes, roads, and bridges through out the entire town. He especially loves building new schools and nurseries for all the babies and children in the community. He is one of the nicest critters you will ever meet!
- Sister Betsy is quite the talker! She visits her friends all the time, and they end up talking for hours. She likes to know about everyone and everything going on in Cloverleaf Corners. Her family likes to call her Miss 411!
- Brother Patch plays the drums in his school's marching band. He plays during the football games and likes being out in the field with all his friends. He also likes riding his bike with his sister around the parch.
- Baby Brother Leny (green) and his twin sister Sally (yellow) are inseparable! Leny loves playing with his toy trains and rattles. Sally loves eating the brownies and cookies her mother makes, but only after she eats her dinner first!
